I usually call it “Unreadable”.

There are better ones out there – go to dafont.com for hundreds of choices.

I do not but your best bet would be to check websites like dafont or fontsquirrel and find something similar. I have played the guess the font game many times with no luck. For all you know it could be a custom don’t based off the person’s handwriting.

I do hope someone can tell you what it is though. Good luck! 🙂

Like PP said, I’m thinking it’s the designers calligraphy. On their shop they mention it’s digital calligraphy so they probably made it themselves.

ashleymarieaucoin :  I don’t think it’s a font – it looks like digitized calligraphy (which isn’t unusual for an invitation). The calligraphy I write is actually very similar looking.

katebluestone :  So are you one of those kids who never learned cursive? Because there’s nothing unreadable about those names.

I don’t know about her but I’m pretty darn good at cursive with good penmanship that people usually comment on and I find it pretty sloppy and ugly looking myself.  Can I make out the letters?  Yup but not with out extra effort and wouldn’t be able to tell you the names just based on a skim.  I had to zoom in and focus to get past all the unevenness and size disparity amongst the letters.  Cursive doesn’t automatically equal pretty and legible.

katebluestone :  +1 unreadable!

I call this style an ‘on the fly’ font because it looks like it’s sliding off the page.

Type in free calligraphy fonts on Pinterest and hundreds will come up. I’ve seen some similar to this.

annabananabee :  maybe I just have a love for bouncy, uneven baseline calligraphy. I had no problem reading “Kendall Kristine” and “Lucas Leo Hansen” at a distance, without zooming in, on my iPhone screen. But then again, I also write modern calligraphy so maybe I’m primed to recognize it. Personally, I find modern calligraphy really gorgeous and the super regular cursive to be reallllyyy boring.

annabananabee :

I was able to read the first name relatively easily, it took me three tries to make out the name Lucas.

I learned cursive too and I don’t use it, but I can read it. This one doesn’t have good penmanship.

BUT the people receiving the invite will probably recognize the names because they know the bride and or groom.
