I found Ebay is the best to get a large amount for dirt cheap. Also, any craft store or department store that carry crafty things should work πŸ™‚ But I got mine off Ebay which was a package of 2800 crystals for $2.50 …can’t beat that! πŸ™‚

I’ve also seen the used with various sizes and from what I’ve seen the smaller the better. You’ll need more but works better!

Hope that helps!! πŸ™‚

You can’t get Swarovski crystals in craft stores, at least not where I live. I order mine from Dreamtime Creations. They also sell Precosia, which are slightly cheaper, and will price match if you find them cheaper elsewhere.

@Aure: Hmm I thought you could in the USA. You can here, but you get very very few in a package, especially the true crystals. That’s why I went through Ebay.

@Firefighter_Bride: I found plenty of off-brand crystals, but no Swarovski. I’m not a huge ebay person, so I just found a reputable online store where I knew I could order as many as I needed without them running out and having to hunt for a new seller. I’m weird and tend to shy away from Ebay most of the time.

@destiny1120: You can get them in places like Hobby Lobby, but they are marked up on price. I got my swarovski crystals and pearls at Artbeads.com. The colors on screen are almost exact to what you are recieving. You probably want something around 6mm in diameter. 4mm is really tiny, and 8mm is fairly large. The prices are wholesale, but you don’t need to buy in bulk to get those prices. They also have tons of other supplies that compliment the crystals well. Hope this helps!

I bought some from Michaels as well….and if you sign up for their emails, they send you “40% off” coupons….I then usually force my FH to come to Michaels with me so we can EACH use a 40% off coupon for that day.  Just a thought but the ebay thing might work better for bulk!
