I LOVE mine as well. I had done some ring shopping on my own so I told him two different cuts I liked (cushion and emerald) and the rest was a complete surprise. I love it so much and I am glad he picked it out for me! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love mine too! Which apparently is a good thing because FH told me it’s the only one I’ll ever get. We’ll see . . .  Wink

I’m OBSESSED with my ring!! I don’t have picture as I’m at work but it’s a Tiffany novo- cushion cut with small diamonds on the band…SO SO SO SPARKLY!! I get compliments everywhere we go! I’m in love…my Fiance is pretty cool too ๐Ÿ™‚

I love my ring-I picked it out. Fiance would probably have chosen a solitaire, but I wanted an eternity ring and he really likes it.  I got another thinner eternity ring for my wedding band and he is getting me another band as  a gift. I love the stacked ring look.

I adore my ring.  I helped design it but my Fiance really took the initiative to do research and create a design that he loved rather than just going with something standard.  I get comments all the time about how unique it is and I love that.  I know he built it just for me! ๐Ÿ™‚

I do!!!

I am in love with my ring and I’m not embarassed to say it!

I have a Blue Nile signature ideal cut, VVS1 clarity, E color, slightly under 1.4 ct round diamond set in platinum with round and baguette stones going halfway around the band.  I absolutely love it.  I told my Fiance the shape of stone I wanted, the type of setting, and that I DON’T want him going for sheer size, I asked for the BEST QUALITY that is within what he wanted to spend and that in no way shape or form will we ever go in debt for it.  If he didn’t have this in his savings with money to spare, then don’t buy it.

I love it!  It may just be where I live, but I have seen a number of 2+ ct center stone rings that are very poor quality.  They just don’t really sparkle or look that good.  I look at mine and see how much light it catches, how clear it is, and I’m so grateful that my Fiance went for quality, which is in stark contrast to what so many people in LA do.

@beekiss Thank you!  Wall-E is one of our favorite movies.  We are having a Wall-E and Eve cake topper ๐Ÿ™‚

@phedre:  That’s so great!  What a creative idea for your cake incorporating a movie you both love!

I love love love my ring!  I don’t remember how many carats it is and I’m just assuming that the diamonds are round cut because they look round.  But it’s perfect because it’s mine and because my fiance worked so hard to be able to give it to me.

This is a great post! I love my ring, too. My diamond is about .3ct and set in palladium. Not as big as many of the diamonds I’ve seen people post, but perfect for me. The best part is the great care he took in choosing a ring he knew I would love. I was more interested in the band than I was in the diamond, and he payed attention to that in all the examples I showed him and got me a lovely ring. I can’t imagine wanting anything else- this is perfect not only because I LOVE it (it fits my style and personality so well!), but also because it’s a symbol of his love for me.

ME…me! i love my ring. I had no input…Fiance picked it out all by himself.  He did good!! I have no idea about the clarity or how many carats…and really i don’t care.  It’s awesome and so is my FI!   Laughing

Mine looks like blondeeebuckeye who posted already.  It’s 3/4 carats, nearly colorless, flawless to the eye, ideal cut, round, and gorgeous!  Fiance worked really hard to get the best diamond in his price range, and I LOVE it and what it represents!!!!

@naangel55, same thing happened to me when shopping for the band.  The sales lady kept trying to get me to get a wrap around or diamonds on the band, because she said it would enhance my diamond.  I kept thinking it actually detracted from the beauty of my solitaire.  I went for the simple wide band.  It really makes my diamond stand out–center of the show! Love it!!
