MemberI don’t drink beer ever and will drink a glass of wine if I absolutely have to for fear of ofending someone. My DH will never drink either. I know plenty people who can’t drink for health reasons. Pregnant, Bridal Party meds, etc. I think there are plenty of people who don’t drink, but it seems to me that this is highly regional and age related.
MemberI’ve never drank any alchohol mainly for religious reasons, but after seeing so many abusive alchoholics in my family I probably wouldn’t touch it regardless of my religion.
MemberI actually really hate the taste of alcohol, my mom snuck Mountain Dew into our wedding venue and poured some in my toasting flute when everyone else was drinking champagne, it was so me! haha

MemberI don’t drink beer. I’ll drink wine if it’s very sweet. And I mean sweet almost to the point that it tastes like grape juice. Haha. I think I’d be one of the guests that drinks soda or water.
MemberMy Fiance and I dont drink at all. I do love sparkling grape juice for toasting (or guzzling…..it’s soooooo yummy!). But water or soda work too.

MemberI very seldom drink alcohol, even though I like the taste of it, I just don’t like to drink often. My sister is the same, my mother and my littlebrother (that is 22 btw) too. I do use red and white-wine for cooking!
MemberI’m a bit of a booze snob nowadays. So, ignroe this post. I’m just intrigued by all the non-drinkers… it’s kind of nice. I gave up drinking for a year once, just to give it a go and it was really nice. I did have one glass of wine at Christmas because my extended family were like “have you got something to tell us?” (implying I was pregnant!)
MemberUp until 3 weeks ago I hated wine and beer, but now I have got a taste for white wine, but only pinot gregio. No idea why.
No one’s ever really bothered me about it, because everyone knows I drink mixed drinks and pop. Even when I go to my FMIL’s, there is always some pop or water for me (cause she’s amazing!!).
I’ve never had anyone call me a liar, but some people think I’m strange. *shrug* Doesn’t bother me.

At all weddings I’ve gone to, most people were drinking beer or wine at the cocktails and dinner, and then hard liquor at the after party.
Most people will, unless pregnant, TTC or have a dislike but it will probably be 15% of adults max. I think
Are you planning on having other choices??

MemberFiance doesn’t like beer or wine. He only likes mixed drinks. I don’t really care for alcohol that much, but I’ll have a drink every now and then. Wine is okay, but I hate beer. I don’t drink sodas either, but I like juice, sweet tea, or lemonade.
