I value sleep over putting on make-up. So, beauty sleep = no eye-bags = no make-up required. 😛 I usually end-up tossing out a lot of make-up products, so I rarely obtain new ones. The ones I do keep are the ones that feel like I am not wearing make-up at all!

I find myself that I take more time to fuss on my hair than worry about my face. As long as it’s cleansed, has got toner applied & moisturised, I’m good to go! I only wear make-up for special occasions, such as attending work Christmas parties or formal events.

My eyebrows get threaded as well. It’s cheaper than waxing. ($8 CAD threading vs $22 CAD waxing)

Just for kicks, weeks ago, I bought some make-up from Shoppers that were on sale. Fiance was like, wipe off that red lipstick. You look cheap. HAHA! Gee, thanks! (Red lipstick is out.)

@MrsPanda99:  The last time I wore make up was to my wedding and that was under duress.

I really hate when women bring up the I wear makeup to work because it appears more polished/professional etc. Why do women need to paint themselves up to appear more professional? Men don’t have to. Why do women need to take the extra step over being neatly attired and hardworking in order to be considered professional and worthy of a job?

I don’t wear any makeup, except if it is a night out. I’m a student but never wore makeup on my internship. Not worth the time and/or effort for me. I’d rather do soemthing else with my time.

I envy all you girls that don’t wear makeup 🙁

My skin is blotchy and red from having acne for 10+ years. No way I’d go out without makeup. I also have blonde eyelashes so I look ridiculous without at least a little mascara.

the skin around my eyes is so naturally red that if I don’t wear a foundation, I look like I have been crying for days without sleep.

@MrsPanda99:  I’m the same way. I’m not a fan of makeup. I’m also not a spa person. If anything, I wear chapstick.

@MrsPanda99:  Toner basically helps remove grease, dirt; etc from clogged pores.

I’ve been using BioTherm for years. Some lady at Sears got me hooked, but I’ve been buying mine from Shopper’s Drug Mart. I find that I’m less prone to adult acne when I do my 3 step cleansing regimen.

I just found out that those nose strips for blackheads are baaaaad. It opens the pores up big time. Sigh, looks like I will have to suck it up and book a facial to get the blackheads out. Shudder.

I wear a little make-up to work, foundation and mascara, that is it. I do not get manis or pedis. I do not spend time styling my hair – I wash it and usually toss it in a ponytail. I DO spend time on skin care as I am older and it is a must. I would love to go for a massage someday though!

I don’t wear make up almost all of the time. The only time I do is when I am going to some formal event and even so it isnt much.

I’ve had my dails done, literally twice. 2 pedi’s and 2 mani’s. I like my nails short and plain.

@MrsPanda99:  I dont have to wear make up all the time I can certainly leave the house without my face put on. But I enjoy wearing make up and doing my make up. However I am not much for getting my nails done, getting waxes, or going to the spa.

Its so funny because i told my fiance yesterday when he was making fun of me putting cover up that you should not look at cover up as covering up your flaws you should look at it like someone prepping their canvas. Alot of make up is very artistic. I know I spend ten minutes on my make up doing what someone would charge me over 100 dollars to do when I go all out on my make up. As for hair. I am great at doing my own hair and I have never felt the need to get mine done professionally other then cuts once a year.

I can leave the house without make up but I feel a little better with it. I have reasonably good skin but I get the occasional spot and I do have constant dark circles under my eyes.   I don’t wear much, just a very sheer foundation (pretty much a tinted moisturiser) concealer, blusher, powder and occasionally some mascara (I have issues with mascara because I have fairly long lashes so if I apply too thickly I get crazy doll eyes or tarantula legs instead of lashes). Fiance does tell me I look better without though.

Im considering doing my own make up for the wedding because I’m super pale and I don’t want to be turned orange or have makeup plastered on. Don’t really know how to do my eyes though.

In general I go make-up free, but I will put on some lotion, concealer, and powder for work and to go out sometimes because my cheeks have a tendency to get red which sucks.  I rarely bother with eyeshadow or mascara anymore.
