I don’t have one, but I got my mom a knock-off brand one (well, two bracelets now anad plenty of charms). I may get her a necklace for the holidays. I’m a grad student and couldn’t afford to buy her a Pandora brand one with several charms, but the Hallmark near me sells a few different brands (okay, i guess they’re not knock-offs). The first one she’s had over a year and it’s going well! I was able to buy one bracelet with 12 or so beads for around $100 for the first one (i think i am remembering right)

I absolutely love my pandora!!! My sister and I each started one last year. Yea they are a little expensive but so worth it and great quality. You do not buy a bracelet full of charms at first; no need and what’s the point? The fun is having someone/you buy a charm that is meaningful at that moment. For example DH got me the angel of hope charm for Christmas for starting my LPN-RN degree in Jan. They are beautiful bracelets and alot of fun to fill. Here’s my bracelet; I’m going to add some more color in there soon!

Since you asked for other charm bracelets, I have a James Avery charm bracelet. I’ve had it since the 5th grade. I think it’s cheaper than Pandora

I have a pandora bracelet. My SO’s parents got it for me and then people kept buying me charms. I like it. It’s really cute. Unfortunately i’m not a big bracelet wearer and it’s difficult to put on, especially since it’s full. So I only wear it when I go out or to a party.

I love my Pandora bracelet.  I got it with one charm as a birthday present in January.  FI has since filled it up.  He got me charms to signify every part of our relationship.    We bought bracelets for all of the women in our family as Christmas gifts and are going to keep adding charms for them on special occassions.  I just love the quality of Pandora and how unique each piece is.

it’s sterling silver and it’s great quality. Almost everyone in Texas has one from them! Great  service too The thing i like is that the charms are actully soldered on rather than clipped on like some charm bracelets

I have the actual bracelet from Troll beads and a mixture of pandore and troll charms. DH got it for me like 3 Christmasses ago and has bought e various beads throughout the years. In fact, I just got a Pandora bead in my advent calendar today. I think it makes a great gift and it’s nice to have meaningful beads which remind me of different events. However, I find it to be really heavy for daily wear now that mine is 95% full. As far as the Troll/Pandora difference, DH picked the Troll bracelet because he liked the clasp better. It is decorated differently and more of a lobster hook than a twist on like Pandora. Filling the bracelet gets VERY expensive, especially if you like any of the beads with gold on them. Ultimately, I like it but would not buy it for myself.

oi! can this thread come back to life?? I just got my first charm bracelet–it’s a troll! I love it so much.

I just started it so it’s a little empty, but I predict it’ll be full within the next couple months! if not weeks! hunting and buying beads is so much fun. (: two beads are from SO, one from dad, one from mom, and the little dragon I got myself.

Here is my pandora bracelet! I am actually waiting for my teacup charm in the mail… womp!! I went for a blue and green theme, along with the classic silver. My bracelet means a lot to me. My mother gave my bracelet as a giift, along with two other charms for Christmas of 2011. I have had it for only a year and a half and it filled up very quick!!! It’s a sick but beautiful addiction haha! All of my charms are from my mother Nd husband. I have treated myself to just a couple. My mother passed jan. of 2013 so my bracelet is extremely sentimental to me.. My favorite charm is definitely the angel —  i was given it by my mom last christmas. I always  look at it for comfort when I’m missing her… Especially with it being the last charm shell ever give to me. This is definately a fabulous tangible memory that you can hold onto! I can’t wait to start my next bracelet! Soon enough;)
