When we got married I had bought a channel band that matched my ring. It was what we could afford at the time. But now that we are married, I plan on buying two bands to stack.

Here is what I have now:

And here is what we plan to get

For reference the first pic is just the set I usually wear.  The second picture isn’t the best but shows my rose gold and eternity band stacked. The last picture is the set I was thinking about getting before I chose mine but i thought you might like another example of the stacked look.

My SIL actually has a three stone engagement ring (just 2 round diamonds, no pave stones) and she doesn’t stack but she does have a jacket / wrap / insert ring as her wedding ring.  It looks like 2 curved pave bands, one on either side, and her ring slides into it.  I don’t have a picture of it, but figured I’d tell you I have seen in IRL, sort of.  I think it looks great together!

@BRT: I like having the option of stacking them when I’m in the mood.  I also really love having the plain rose gold band.  When I’m doing things that would get the diamonds rings dirty I love that I can still wear a classic band.  I highly recommend both an eternity and plain band if your considering it.

 @blingbling: Thank you!

@BRT:  I just measured the rose gold band and it’s 2mm.  I got mine from a jeweler in the Diamond District in NYC where we got the eternity band and engagement ring.

After I purchased it I found some online at etsy too that you could try.  This ring looks exactly like mine and I think is a little cheaper http://www.etsy.com/listing/71778770/14k-rose-gold-ring-romantic-pink-wedding

If you go with rose gold one thing to keep in mind is the karat.  18K and 14K have a slightly different color.  I didn’t know this when I bought mine and I got 18K.  I think I would have liked 14K better because I think it has more of a pink tint (you might want to verify that with a jeweler). The pic I sent makes my ring look like yellow gold but it doesn’t look like that in person.
