I’m not looking to lose a ton of weight (maybe 5-10 lbs) but I’d like to find some resources for healthier living in general. I saw SparkPeople online and noticed it’s free, which would be a major plus, especially because I’m not trying to lose a serious amount of weight and don’t want to invest too heavily in a program.
Do any Bees use SparkPeople.com? What do you think of it? Pros or cons?

I used it. Only for the recipes though and how to really really use the portion control part. I eat healthy already, just needed a bit of a boost. I won’t lie, I think it’s the best out there and the community is great. I don’t participate, I just read the stuff they write. Their recipes are off the hook though.

I used sparkpeople religiously last year when I lost 30 pounds. Great recipes, awesome food tracker and a lot of awesome people on the boards over there with great ideas & fitness tips.

I like SparkPeople, specifically the blogs and the motivational articles. The recipe calculator is great too but I don’t really use the meal plans. Good community, and their Droid App is great for food/fitness tracking!

Hadn’t heard of this, but am definitely going to check it out!

i use it, or at least I have tried to. The blog/community pages are almost overwhelming…I don’t understand the awards or points…and really how to organize it all. Is there a quick and easy tutorial on how to navigate the website?
I need to tone up and lose 10 lbs. The company I work for allows their health coaches to recommend this website for the great advice listed there.
