@MrsHoneyC:  do you know the mm of eahc of the bands? I am getting 2 bands for my wedding (a blingy one and a plain one) and im curious to know what your sizes are.  also your ring size! (ps. ive seen youir set on a bunch of threads and i LOVE it. i have a sapphire too 🙂 )

@MrsHoneyC:  I love that! I have to ask, where did you find a sapphire solitaire to fit over the eternity band? My finance gave me the eternity band as my engagment ring and I desparately want a sapphire ring. The ones I tried for a wedding ring don’t fit flush with the eternity band (it’s set up too high) but yours are perfect!

mrssloan2013:  YES PLEASE!  That is a gorgeous stack – the second one up from the bottom is very close to what I’m looking at currently – would you mind sharing what size and/or carat weight that ring is?

kidseahawk:  im a size 3.5..its .8 carats and 1.9mm wide shared prong full eternity band in 14k white gold..I got it from a local jeweler but I know blue nile has one thats identical. Thanks for the nice compliments!

I know this thread is a bit old, but I thought that I would share. I love all of the other stacks! I love my engagement ring, which I picked out, but sometimes I wish I had gotten something with more sparkle–I love the marquis cut, but I never really put much thought into rings and what I liked because I never thought I would get married, even when it was happening! I didn’t grow up dreaming about “the big day.”

My husband and I have my grandparents’ wedding bands, which is super special. But, I lost a lot of weight and didn’t want to resize my other bands until my weight stabilized, so my husband surprised me with the sapphire ring, which holds everything in place. Plus, I love the pop of color. I would have likely chosen it as a wedding band, if we bought our own, if I had been creative:)

The manicure color doesn’t do the sapphire ring justice. Fall nail colors make it look better. My rings probably could have used a cleaning before a photo!

Anyway, I’m always curious about why people stack them. Sometimes I only wear the sapphire and diamond band and skip the e-ring and actual wedding band.
