We had about 70 people and everyone had a great time ๐Ÿ™‚ It was a hugely budgeted, super cheap wedding too, so I understand how you feel. Just remember- it’s not about personalized napkins, it’s about marrying the love of your life! ๐Ÿ˜€

Yes, I know what you mean.  I feel like that too since we’re paying for most of the wedding ourselves.  I’m more concerned right now that we’ll be able to make all the payments.

I just have to remind myself to take deep breaths and try to forget the nighmare I had of me walking down the isle in a pantsuit…that was actually pretty horrific…think Hillary Clinton….uhhh still gives me shivers….

@ms_nickie: Lol! I remember all the crazy wedding dreams. I dreamt we were getting married in the grocery store once, and I was wearing fisherman boots under my dress!

@Miss Otter: Trust me, on the day of (maybe not the morning of :P) you’ll be so happy you won’t be able to stop smiling ๐Ÿ˜€

I *TOTALLY* feel this. Super tight budget, 80 people, cash bar (which is the BIGGEST guilt trip of all). Sigh.

You will be fine!!! When all is said and done, you’ll be proud of how much you saved and how practical you were. After all, who doesn’t love a good bargain?

But I know exactly what you mean. In our case, the 300 people are pretty much mandatory (FI’s huge Italian family). But we’re doing it on a CRAZY tight budget, and today I had a mini sad-fest about it. The one thing I would LOVE is a Maggie Sottero wedding dress, because I think all of her designs are absolutely stunning. I had sort of come to terms with the fact that I couldn’t afford her… then I accidentally saw one of her dresses in person today. NOT helping. Whoops.

@Miss Fish: whats your budget for dresses? Perfectbridal & preownedweddingdresses have Maggie’s. Maybe give them a look?

@Miss Fish:  When are you getting married?
