@LilRhodyGem: I understand about it being the cool thing to do, haha. That’s why I registered for a fleet of Calphalon pots and pans.
I only received one — a two-quart sauce pan. I used it, put it in the dishwasher, and just about ruined it and ended up with this sandy grit all over everything else in the dishwasher, including all of my glasses that were in there. Thankfully, I was able to re-wash the other dishes sufficiently to remove all of the sandy grit, and Calphalon gave me instructions as to how to restore the exterior of the pan, since it had only gone through the dishwasher once.
Now I am SOOOOOO glad that I do not have tons of pots and pans that I have to wash by hand! 🙂
I already have one (my mom got it for me for Christmas two years ago), and even though I wouldn’t have asked for it /bought it then, I love it now! But I do lots of baking, so it’s really helpful.
For the wedding, I put the pasta-roller attachment on my registry, and received it at my shower.
NOPE! I hate that thing! It’s huge and I would never use it. I only liked that it comes in the colour pink and for that I wanted it but I would never use it so didnt register for it
We asked for one and my best friend bought it. At first I figured I MIGHT use it from time to time, but with all of the attachments and everything else, I seriously use it every day. I use it to scramble eggs (Makes them SUPER fluffy), mashed potatoes, you name it! I also want to pick up the ice cream attachment as well as the meat grinder and pasta one. I do tons of baking now as well. It just makes everything easier!
I polish it every day. I love it a little bit too much, and it looks fantastic on our counter!
I want one but I def. don’t need it. I’ll probably throw one on our registry, if we get it great– if not I’ll eventually get one.
I didn’t ask for it but my parents got us one for Christmas. I use it quite often even though I also have a hand mixer. I find it easier to use to mix bread dough and cookie dough.
