I notice that I see tons of women on here with the same dresses, does it bother you? I don’t mean to offend anyone, I’m just wondering.

It’d only bother me if they were wearing it to my wedding π
I have only seen one bee that will be wearing the same gown as me, but if there were more, I would probably feel both flattered that I have good taste and also sad because I like to be more unique than others.
I’ve never seen anyone else in my dress (except for the ads) and I loooove that!
@noritake22: Totally know what I mean, I guess I just like to think that its my day and I want to feel unique… obviously other women have my dress or similar ones but I like that I don’t actually know any of them so in my mind they don’t exist, haha.
ive never seen my dress on another person…. but if i did… i still think it looks bangin on me so i wouldnt be sad! π
I love your response SoontobeMrsA! So true!! =D
I haven’t found anyone else with my dress yet either (and I’ve been trying), but I don’t think I’d let it bother me if there were others. They always look so different depending on who’s wearing them, you know?
I had thought of that and it was a reason that I was a little hestitant about trying on the dress that became mine, because it is popular. However I did really love it and once I saw it in person loved it even more. Then my awesome bridal attendant made a good point. I will be the only bride at my wedding and the only one wearing that dress. Very true. And like noritake22 said…just means we all have good taste then, lol
My dress just came out this season and I’ve already found a few other bees who have it. And who knows how many other people in general could as well! I was surprised because when I first got my dress, I had no idea it would be that popular. But I love it and love it on me, so how can I feel bad that other people might feel the same way? π
@SoontobeMrsA: Love your comment!
I have only seen one person with my dress on, and that was Say Yes to the Dress, and just a “snippet”. I am kind of glad though. I think I would feel too “trendy” if I had the same dress as a lot of ladies, but then again I am not very “fashion forward” either!
=)
I really don’t care about seeing other bees in my dress- I actually think it’s kind of nice to find dress twins b/c I can get an idea of how they accessorized it, etc.
I really think it would only bother me if someone I knew picked the same dress, and then got married before me… but that isn’t happening, and I doubt it happens to very many people.
I have yet to find someone with my same dress and honestly I wish I could find at least one other person with it. Not sure why.
The only person I’ve seen with my dress posted an ad trying to sell it–and used pictures of me in her ad. Ok, that was a bit creepy, but she did take the ad down immediately after I asked her to.
But honestly, there aren’t that many weddings in my circle, since I am older. So even if my dress had been a really popular one, I doubt my guests would have seen it on anyone else.
I go through waves with my thoughts but ultimately, I am the kind of girl that likes to be “different” than others. The first dress I tried on was Adorae, and I certainly loved it. And of course, we’ve seen 5-6 dozen Adorae women pass through wedding bee! It is a beautiful dress and what has been proven is that Adorae is beautiful on all different shapes and sizes! In the end, I chose an Anjolique gown from a few years back and am enjoying the idea that no other girls are wearing my dress. So to answer the question, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, but I love my dress! π
I have not seen one person or post anywhere about my wedding dress! And it makes me so happy π Sometimes I get sad because I’m like… hello this dress is amazing. But oh well! It’s really cool to see other girls wearing the dresses I tried on though. I’m always like, yea girl, I tried that, go rock it! π
On the other hand, maybe someone out there is like me… and refuses to share a picture/name of my dress until I actually wear it. I’m just so scared that my fiance is going to find it randomly.
