I think that the pearl or crystal strands would be exactly what you need.  Other than that, I think it looks great 🙂

I think it needs something blingy and light just cause the colors are so rich and dark (you are doing a peacock theme right?)  I think even candles would work if you can use them.

I think it’s lovely!  but what if you wrap the vase with some sort of ribbon?

I think a submersible light at the bottom of the vase will help up light the feathers and help the colors of the peacock feather stand out a bit!

Hope that helps!

I think the crystal strands would be great! especially if you added some light to it as well =)

I always find that peacock feathers look a little sparse once you get below the gorgeous ‘eye’. If they’re available where you are, I would add some peacock sword feathers (like these: http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/bevfabriccrafts_2139_590813174) That would help add an extra punch of colour and fill in the blanks a bit.

Also seconding the suggestions for a light source to show off the shimmer 🙂

i’d just add something at the base maybe a collection of small votive candles- some lower, some taller to mix it up a bit. i like the hanging crystal idea as well.

@YSQueen: Ah, so you do! Yeah, I would shorten a few of them and add some more to fill out the bottom half of the feather cluster a bit.
