Not even close to awful. I can see the bunching, but mainly as you mentioned it. It is a lovely dress.

I don’t get the entire mermaid dress trend, I prefer the flare to go from the waist, but even if it’s not my type – it is a lovely dress, and I think your hips are rocking this shape!

The bunching was all I noticed. Is it too tight? Posture?

I don’t think it looks awful! I can see the slight bunching, but if it is really bothering you, maybe you can add a sash? Or keep in mind the fact that you will be holding flowers at your waist for most of your pictures, and when you’re moving about or dancing–no one is going to notice that anyway! It is a beautiful dress and I’m obsessed with the lace detailing at the bottom!

Certainly does not look awful, it looks lovely . Maybe  a waist cincher thingy underneath , to  smooth?   But really, I don’t   think it’s a bunch, just a natural line.  ,

It’s a lovely dress! But I see what you mean about the middle, maybe wear a corset or something? Was it that way when you first picked the dress?

That is one stunning dress! The bunching isn’t really that noticeable to me. But if you’re worried about it I agree about adding a belt/sash. Either way it is far from awful! 🙂

This dress is beautiful! Once you said something about bunching I can kind of see what you are talking about but it isnt noticable at all. With everything going on I dont think anyone will notice any bunching they will just find the dress beautiful! For the making you seem shorter I cant really tell from the picture but could you wear heels to make yourself seem taller? You can always change your shoes for the reception

Usually the bunching is due to the dress being too snug. I dont know if that’s the case or just the type of material. I would ask about having it let out just a smidge to see if that will help with the rippling.

The dress is stunning and you look beautiful in it. I don’t think it makes you look short either – it’s more the big poofy mermaids or styles where there’s a horizontal line between the bodice and the skirt that do that.

I agree with the PP about letting the dress out slightly – probably around the hips – to see if that reduces the ripple around the waistline.
