I think they both look very pretty together. The gap isn’t strange to me – I see it alot.

i think its looks fine. however, i had the same problem, partly because my e-ring band is not straight.  i was having so much trouble finding a band i liked to go with it, i finally decided to get a band i LOVE and wear it on the other hand!  i love it – jewelry on both hands.  i will move my e-ring over to the right and put the band on the left.  just another option for you to consider if you are really not happy with how it looks. i realized it was one of those “rules” i did not need to abide by.

Well… I assume you posted the question to get honest opinions from many different ladies, so I’ll give you mine. 🙂

I prefer when the bands fit flush. I plan to do a solitaire with a sparkler band too and I told the giant that the rings laying flush is one important factor for me with the ring.

I will say that I do love your setting. I’m not sure if I’ll get 6 or 4 prongs, but I think the six looks nicest.

But don’t fret if you want it to be flush! A lot of jewelers will reset the diamond into a new band if you tell them your situation.

I think it looks great! My band will sit flush against my engagement ring but it is always spinning/moving around that there is usually a gap anyway!
