Does my e-ring look porportionate on my finger? My ring size is 4.5. and my diamond is 1ct. What are your thoughts? Sometimes I think it looks fabulous and other times I think it looks small. Do you think its a good size for my hand?

MemberI don’t think finger to diamond proportion has much to do with an engagement ring.
MemberI also have 1 ct, but on a 5.75 finger. Yours looks huge!

MemberIt looks good! I definitely think bigger would’ve looked too big.
MemberI knew I was feeling crazy for ever thinking it looks small. I think I am just comparing my ring with other bride to be’s around me.

Member@MrsWheaton: I get that feeling still. My diamond seems to grown and shrink constantly, but I think your ring looks lovely on your hand.

MemberYour ring looks fine. You are suffering from DDS -Diamond Shrinkage Syndrome. We all get it now and then.

the finger / diamond ratio is subjective anyways. it’s your ring and your finger, so how do you feel? that’s really all that matters.
