Congratulations! You have a beautiful ring!

I don’t think it looks too small at all, I think it looks just right 🙂 I have a 1.25 carat on a size 8 1/2 finger, and I feel like my fingers are pudgy *blush* I was afraid that it would look too small on my fat fingers, but now that I have it, I sometimes feel like it looks too big, just because most of the people around me have rings that are much smaller in carat size.  It’s gorgeous though, and I am adjusting to it (been engaged just 2 months, so I still find myself staring at it in wonder at times!) and I love it and what it represents and that’s what matters.  As long as you love your ring, that’s what counts!

Your ring is gorgeous!  And it definitely looks bigger than 1ct in my opinion.  I went through that too at one time because my fingers are long and thin, so I felt like I should have chose an emerald cut or something like that.

@Ryansgirl:  Yours?

Apparently mine is teensy in its .6ct glory on my size 6 finger.

Until I came to the bee I never thought about the size of gemstones being proportional or heard of any fear that they could look small XD I knew celebrity rings were big but assumed it was mostly because they feel they have to spend millions on them. I had heard people fretting over not being used to having something on their hand or if the ring Would get in the way.

In everyday life I don’t think people really think about other people’s rings much, they just say how nice they are when you show them ^_^

i have the opposite of diamond shrinkage syndrome. Mine is just over a carat and it keeps getting bigger!! I’m glad he didnt get one any larger!! I have small hands so that may be why.

But i loveeeesss it and yours is fabulous.
