I could take or leave the curved, I don’t love it but it’s not awful either.

I do think the stone is up too high though.

Actually you know what, looking at it further I think that the stone is in the same spot as before, but the curved prongs have much more space below the stone than the straight ones. So it’s giving the appearance it’s up way higher even though it’s not

Old one is better imo.  My vote goes for ‘change it!’

I’m sorry but it does look unusually high, imo. Beautiful stone and your bands are to die for!

I’m not sure. I think they both look high to me. But I have a very low profile ring, so I guess I don’t know what I’m talking about really. I love the stone though on both! Gorgeous!

I LOVE your set. It is pretty high but that is something that makes me love it more! The elevates the stone way up and makes it stand out even more (which you SO don’t need with a 3+ carat stone, but it’s gorgseous!!!)

For your wedding bands, what are the specs? The proportions are lovely!

I think ur rings are beautiful. I agree it is a bit high.. Is there any way u cnw speak to the jeweler and find out a cost effective way to fix it if it’s really botherin u? I know I’m a klutz and I would be terrified I would knock it into shit…

My ring is set very high as well (which is the look I like!), there is a lot of space underneith the diamond. That being said, yours looks even higher than mine and might be on the verge of too high… Maybe just get it lowered slightly? Gorgeous ring tho 🙂

It’s high for SURE but it’s gorgeous! I will say, I got my stone raised when I was first engaged and it fell out a few months later…very sad…BUT I found the diamond, it was fixed, lowered, and as far as loving something FOREVER…I have changed mine 3 times lol and he literally got me exactly what I wanted and what I considered my DREAM ring… lol Honestly, I don’t see myself ever really not wanting to make slight changes…just who I am! 😉 Just get that puppy insured and if it is too high and you lose it, then you can replace it… that’s my best advice..but I think both settings are gorgeous and I love a good princess cut!… I am bias though 😉

The rings are stunning!! Seriously, that is a gorgeous set.  However, I think it is too high for me as I prefer low profile and I would be uncomfortable wearing it because I am clumsy.
