Yep, I agree with preppy_bee…have alterations take in the hips a bit and you will get the look you’re going for. I personally don’t think the belt placement makes a huge difference. I would just tie it at your natural waist to accentuate it.

Preppy_Bee:  totally agree – that was what stood out to me. when I tried on my dress it looked so much better when it was taken in every so slightly along the thigh area.
