It’s not my taste.
It’s not my taste.
I also have a floating diamond halo ring, but that’s the design of it. Yours looks like it’s not meant to sit that high in the setting, and if the center diamond was smaller, it would sit lower or not float at all. I’ll attach a picture here so you get an idea of what mine looks like.
Just my 2 cents but I prefer the main stone to sit more flush within the halo. I actually ditched my halo and went solitaire because of that. If you prefer to the stone to be raised high above the setting, then it’s perfect.
I love how buttery your stone is (nice warm tones do it for me) but somehow it doesn’t seem to be best suited by how white that setting is, maybe because it doesnt quite look like the stone and the setting are the right size together.
I think it’s set waaay too high, and I’d be worried about banging it on things. Otherwise the halo itself looks great 🙂
The centre diamond is so high, if it were my ring I’d be constantly worrying about bashing it, losing the diamond etc. It is a lovely ring though, and if you love it the way it is then go for it 🙂
Yes, I think it looks silly.
I think it looks great but it would look perfect if the setting was a tad bigger! I have a cushion halo and my stone is a bit big for it as well. It sits way up above the halo but I love it. Im a huge fan of super high settings
It’s different, but I think it’s really beautiful! And I bet your center stone sparkles like crazy because of how much light is able to reach it. My only concern would be hitting the center stone on everything (but I’m clumsy like that).
Your diamond is beautiful! I do think its set a bit too high though..and the halo is covered up a little bit too..I think a larger setting would compliment your diamond better.
I think it’s beautiful. I like high settings, even though I could never wear one.
