I have googled high and low (maybe I’m bad at googling) but I cannot find the answer to my question!!
I’m looking to buy a rose gold rhr soon, as platinums waaaay too expensive, but I’m allergic to nickel.
Do any of you bees know if it contains it or not?

My Darling Husband is way better at google than I am 🙂
18K Rose Gold: 75% gold, 22.5% copper, 2.75% silver
It looks like it shouldn’t have nickel in it but I have no idea if a jeweler would add it as a filler? Are you planning on buying from a jeweler? Perhaps they will be able to give you a better answer.

Rose gold is “colored” with copper, so it should contain very, very little nickel, if any.

@sexymama118: I don’t think I’ve ever worn anything copper! Might have to buy a piece to test that out, I’ve never reacted to anything else!
Thank you for your replies, I forgot that I started this thread!!

The majority of my jewellery is rose gold, my understanding is that it’s a mixture of gold, copper and silver or palladium.
I’m in the UK, and here there are regulations on the use of nickel in jewellery. It’s not used in white gold either. The alloy might differ in the US.
