(Closed) Does sex stop when you're on your period?

My period only lasts 2-3 days so we forgo sex during the time 1. because its such a short time, 2. DH has a blood phobia! he gets queasy seeing papercuts, 3. while the idea doesn’t bother me it also isn’t anything I feel like I’m missing out on either so, meh

But on the topic, no.  No sex for me generally when I’m on the rag.  Ge won’t touch me if he knows ahead of time that I’m having my period.  He’s actually told me it’s better to “surprise” him with that fact instead.  I’m not grossed out at all about having sex on my period.  In fact, I tend to want to have sex MORE around the time of my period/during.

I have very, very light periods. My husband can’t even tell when I am on it or not, so it’s a non-issue.

We’ve tried a couple times using a period cup, which isn’t so bad, but usually we just stick to hands, my mouth, and toys during that time!

I think it stops menstruation in about 90+% of women; but around 5-10% still bleed either regularly or irregularly. Typically if it hasn’t stopped your periods within 6 months, it probably won’t.

We don’t have sex during shark week. I get grossed out no matter how light or heavy my flow is. To each their own but it’s not my cup of tea.

We are still intimate while I’m on my period, but only under certain circumstances. If I’m feeling crampy or just gross in general, I’ll help him out in other ways, but usually it’s all good.

Depends on how I’m feeling. Sometimes I’m super horny and its a heavy day so we throw down a towel. Other times I don’t want sex at all that week. Usually we try to have sex the day or two before I’m supposed to start.

I used to with others. Usually in the shower. Too Much Information: My periods are really gross now so I don’t even want to anymore even though that is when I am craving it most.

I love it! It makes the cramps go away! Haha! I’m usually more frisky during this time for some reason. We either do it in the shower or throw a towel down, and use a condom from start to finish for less mess.
