During high school/college, I was a waitress at a diner and became extremely close with 3 older women (in their 60s). I still keep in touch with them and visit them often. I immediately added them to the guest list and assumed the three of them would travel together and stay together. Now that I am putting the invitations together I suddenly realized that one of them is married (the other two are not). Every thing I’ve seen says if someone is married give them a plus one. However, I feel like this is a unique situation. I can see the three of them sharing a car and a room but the two who are unmarried do not get along as well and would most likely not travel and stay together just the two of them. I’m not sure if I would be making it awkward for the group by inviting the husband or not. I may be overthinking this. Thoughts? Thanks!
