@Supersleuth:  To me, in the end, not really. Not engaged yet, but he has the ring, and I did want something that looked nice and somewhat substantial on my hand. I didn’t set a “must be x carats” rule/guideline, or even “must be diamond,” just that it was clear, sparkly, and looked decent on me. I did mention that I liked the 1-ish range, but I’ll be happy with whatever he picked! At the end of the day, I’d rather be engaged/married to a good man who took time/money/effort to pick something special just for me than have an extremely large diamond to show off =D

Size only matters if it matters to you.

For me, yes. I like a certain aesthetic so size would matter if it were a stone.

@Supersleuth:  Nope doesn’t matter to me .. It’s about the meaning of you and your DH. Smile

To me? Not a bit. I honestly couldn’t even tell you what size my diamond is because I’ve never thought to ask. All I know is that my ring is sparkly, absolutely perfect (for me), and makes me smile every time I look at it.

However, all of this penis talk is cracking me up. Carry on ladies. Laughing
