It’s totally up to you guys! Most people that I know have gone with their Fiance to pick out the suit or tux. I was actually the one who FOUND FI’s suit for the wedding, so I was pretty involved, haha!

I went with him to pick it to match it to our colors! No way I was gonna have it clash!

I picked the suit and just took my fiance to get his measurements.  First, he has no sense of fashion – never has and never will. Lord only knows what he would have picked out.  Second, it would have never gotten done unless I didn’t and I didn’t want to have to worry about it.

Why not?

I love my man, but wouldn’t trust him to pick out an outfit ever.  ๐Ÿ™‚

i went with my husband. he’s colorblind, so you never know what you’re going to get. and then he proceeded to try it on weekly to make sure it would still fit or to see how it all looked together if he added something (shoes, jacket, etc). i saw him often in it.

My Fiance, his best man, and I all went together to pick his tux and the tuxes for the groomsmen.  I enjoyed having some input and getting to picture how everything we were chosing would go together.

My husband first went by himself and picked 3 that he liked. He wanted my input so I went with him for this final choice. I gave him input, but ultimately I wanted HIM to pick what he would wear, I wanted him to feel comfortable and handsome.

The store lady was surprised and kept telling me how much I was nice to let him choose… apparently, the common thing that they see in stores is that the women pick a few options, then have the groom parade and the women make the final choice. Poor men don’t get to say much… Anyway that’s what the saleswoman told us.

All the guys and I went together to pick their tuxes! Who knows what colors, styles they would have come up with on their own? LOL

I went with my husband because I wanted to make sure the colors were right and that I liked the style.  I have never heard of you not seeing the groom’s tux before the wedding.

I am definitely going with him – 1, because of the sheer volume of tuxes we need (about 15) and 2, because my dress is ivory and I need to decide on white/ivory.

I definitely trust him, as he is pretty damn fashionable! ๐Ÿ™‚

i let him pick the suit then gave him swatches of the bridesmaids’ dresses to pick the vests and ties, i went back later to double check what he picked and have veto power. so he basically picked with my blessing ๐Ÿ™‚
