I find during the summer that I eat less/lighter and obviously drink a ton more water (it’s all I drink, btw). I actually dig it. They always say that winter makes us eat comfort/heavy food. As I grow older I’m seeing how that’s more true each year.

yep. it always did even as a kid. my parents would have to force me to eat dinner.

Yup, definitely. All I seem to want to eat in the summer is yogurt, fruit, and cottage cheese, lol. Although it doesn’t work as well when you’re in an air-conditioned place, since you don’t feel the heat!

A little. But more than suppressing my appetite, I just change the foods I eat. I like to joke that I could eat a watermelon by myself. So in quantity, I am eating the same volume of food, but it tends to be lighter all around.

just a bit. More, it makes me start wondering what can I *possibly* eat that doesn’t involve cooking!

Yes thank GOD- but when i get into an airconditioned room I could eat a whole cake…sigh.

It TOTALLY DOES. I often will go until 2-3 in the afternoon before I realize I HAVE TO EAT. The flip side to this is that I could eat an entire bakery or candy store in the winter 🙁

I feel the same way when it comes to winter.

Not that I have ever noticed. My appetite is generally the same regardless of the weather.

yes and normally when it’s hot i just want cool or cold food, like cold sandwiches or fruit!

This is another reason I despise New England winters, lol.

It does unless I have my period, in which case the equator could not stand between me and a bag of BBQ potato chips.

I’ve never noticed that…..but then I live in California so the weather doesn’t change all that drastically.

Only during the day. Nighttime is dangerous…
