@ebolshak:  yep, I’d agree, the neckline is ‘relaxed’ on the model and she likely has a crinolan…very lovely on your figure !

To me, it looks like where it hits the model under her armpit is slightly lower than where yours hits you, but that could just because of the angle. Something about the straps or something?

And I agree about the petticoat ๐Ÿ™‚

It definitely looks the same, but I think it could be altered to fit you better on top.  I think it could be taken in a bit on the sides or the back & I bet once it fits better, the layers will lay a little more like the picture.  It looks great on you though!

@ebolshak:  I sure do. I love my dress but I feel the sash/flower is a little less prominent on me. When I try it on again next month I will decide if I want to change to a blingy sash or keep as is.

@ebolshak:  I think the color is just lighting because I bought Ivory and the website says the model is wearing the Ivory too. Or it maybe my cell phone picture. I’m not very tech savy and when this picture was taken I didn’t even realize you could change settings like indoor/outdoor etc lol. So my phone maybe on a wrong setting.

I think we are often our own worst critics. I have been listening more to what Bees say about my sash than what I think it looks like. Just as you think your dress is so different than the model, but its little things like steaming to relax it and layers under the skirt. We don’t get professional designers helping us make our dresses look perfect.

@ebolshak:  Exactly. For a week or so after buying this dress I was really worried about the sash but the more I look at the photos and when others tell me it looks fine, then I start to relax a little more and think “Ok its all in my head.” Hopefully you do too because your dress is really beautiful. And at the end of the day all that really matters is we and our FI’s love our dresses.

@ebolshak:  Oh great, I bet that will make a huge difference for you ๐Ÿ˜‰  I’ve seen a few posts on here with people showing the difference before & after alterations & you can really see the difference.  I bet you’ll be super happy after it is altered to fit you perfect.
