@MrsKale:  I had nursing students from my school meet Andrea Yates when she was in the psych prison… they said she was totally normal and friendly and they would have had no idea that she murdered her kids. THAT is the scary part.

ETA: As far as I have heard this current case the woman has no diagnosed mental illness, Andrea Yates did have severe PPD and postpartum psychosis which are a somewhat different situation.

@sweetpeony:  I would love to hear what kind of justifications she has for all of this! I would also be enraged if I was a regular poster and found out I had been speaking to her for who knows how long! What if someone told her personal things about themselves?!

@chasesgirl:  she’s the one that drowned hers and blamed it on the devil or something? I remember that, it was so awful! I felt terrible for the husband.

This is absolutely fitting. I haven’t read through this thread, so I’m sure there’s plenty of debates going on about various issues, but this woman is a monster and deserves to be put away for good, perhaps with her hands glued to the prison walls.

Um, yeah. This is making me really, really glad I’ve only really lurked on this site so far. I feel dirty just thinking about chatting away with someone like this about happy, frivolous things like wedding details.

Unless her hand is glued to a wall and she is beaten mercilessly FOREVER, then no. The punishment does not fit the crime. 99 years was light.

@chasesgirl:  People like that made me question vmec on the sociopath thing. Who is to say she can be rehabilitated?

I cannot understand that mentality honestly and I am trying not to be snarky. But I knew a child molester who went to jail and got out early for good behavior. He then started a new family and the cycle repeats…. How does this happen???? He was an upstanding member of his community and they did not care about his past…even though it affected his present. How do people like that keep getting out on the streets? How are they able to reproduce again???

@hisgoosiegirl:  Yeah, she had serious post partum depression and psycosis and her doc apparently wasn’t listening when her husband and she said she needed the medications she had previously been on to control the issues. It really is a sad situation all around.

I don’t really know how safe I feel posting information on a site that had a murderer lurking about. I want to know who this woman is!

@Blanche:  Apparently.

I wonder what this will do to our community here, do you think people will start to leave because they feel unsafe?  I bet that won’t be good for the bee either, because it will effect advertising and revenue.

@MischiefManaged: There’s a photo with that first article about her. I’m not on here enough to really know the regulars but if she’s posted pics of her face on the Bee then someone must recognize her…
