I think something is missing here…

ETA: Oh, there we go! I like it. I wouldn’t do it, because I’m not into bold colors, but the neutral with pops of bold colors is nice!

I really like it. I’m also a fan of neutral colours with pops of bold colours!

@miss narwhal:  The dress/shoes are a nuetral color. You could pretty much pair anything with it and it would look fine. I like the deep flowers.

I think it’s really pretty!  I was about to add, maybe a sparkle in the shoe? And took a closer look and saw you had!  I would just add some more sparkle via necklace or braclet.  It’s going to be beautiful though!  best of luck!

I like it because it is appropriate for fall without screaming it in your face (like some pumpkin colour scheme do)

@miss narwhal:  No, it’s not hideous! As pps have said, neutral with pops of bold colors usually work well.

I LOVE IT. Those flower colors are on my list of possibilities as well, and I was wondering what dress colors would ‘go’ without being matchy-matchy and you nailed it! Of course, that color dress would look awful on my sister, so I won’t be ‘copying’!

TO @miss narwhal:  Not a bad colour scheme at all… altho I personally would bring in a third colour… just to balance things out more (artistically things always look better in odd numbers)

What is the “commercial” name that that dress is being marketed under ?  You could GOOGLE that.

I took a stab at it… using the colour Taupe… and here are a bunch of images I found (some similar shades / hues, some a bit lighter)

    GOOGLE – Taupe Bridesmaids = http://www.google.ca/search?q=taupe+bridesmaids&rlz=1W1TSCA_enCA455&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=l12iUaiLHNLI4APUyIDAAQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=612

Play around with GOOGLE IMAGES… you can find just about anything imaginable… lots of ideas

(Taupe Weddings – Tan Wedding – Beige Wedding – etc)

    Hope this helps,

I think adding a metalic shade (gold, bronze, silver, champagne?) would really liven it up but I love the base! Nice choice!! 😀
