(Closed) Does this count as a period? When to use OPKs?

Cycle day one is fresh bleeding where you need a tampon or pad, so I wouldn’t count that. I would try temping to see what is happening wihth your cycle. You just need a thremometer with 2 decimal points and download the app fertility friend.

I think you should count it as your period, because in the 5 months or so I was off the pill before I conceived, that’s how all my periods were.  I never had any red blood and wound up pregnant, so I must have been ovulating.

daisy351:  I agree, I would count it while your body is adjusting to going off BC.  Your OPK should tell you when to start testing based on your usual cycle length, but it might take a while before everything becomes normal again.  Get Fertility Friend App to start tracking your cycles.
