Hi, NewBee here. Been married for almost five years. I just got a new diamond anniversary band… The only problem is that it sits really high, almost as high as my solitaire. I just wanted to get your opinions on how it looks paired with my wedding set. Does it go well with it or should I return it and keep looking? Thanks In Advance. Please excuse the dry hands, I’m currently getting over a cold that severely kicked my behind!

@SheWakesWhenSheDreams: YES! It looks wonderful!!!

I think the style goes well with it, but it’s really thick/wide (diamonds too big?) and it overpowers your set. Maybe it could come in a thinner band with smaller diamonds? I personally think it takes away from the beauty of your set.

I like it, but think it work better worn diamond band, wedding ring, and then engagement ring. from base of finger towards knuckle. That would also be better in terms of preventing the prongs from being worn down. Could we get a pic like that?

Is it sized properly? It looks like it’s a little too big compared to your e-ring and plain band.

@SheWakesWhenSheDreams: I agree that it would look better anniversary, wedding, engagement going up but it is still too high I think.

@SnowInApril: It is the same size as my other rings, it just has a higher profile.

It’s higher than the others, but that doesn’t bother me when it’s worn like the photo you just posted. If you’re happy then its golden! If that will drive you crazy, then maybe keep shopping? Also, I don’t think it’s the stone size that makes it higher, just the design of the ring.

@SheWakesWhenSheDreams: I think it sits too high. My biggest concern when choosing a wedding band was that it sat flush with my e-ring. I think it overpowers your wedding band and competes with your e-ring.

Thank you everybody for your honest opinions.

I like the style, and even the width, but not the height. I think it needs to be the same height off your finger as your other rings.

@SheWakesWhenSheDreams: I really like it how it’s worn in the first picture you posted. I love the look of the diamonds sandwiched between the two plain bands.

I like the idea of the first pic (the diamond band between 2 plain bands) but I think it needs to be the same height. I’m hypercritical of my rings though, so if it doesn’t bother you then go for it!! If the height bothers you I’d go to a jewelry store and try some on in person.
