@bohosioux:  Unfortunately, she’s totally not a bee and it’s doubtful she’d want her pics on any website!  That being said if  you know your vision and are confident in it I say go with it!

If you like the first one you posted, I think you should also check out the pronovias distel, it has a pleated element underneath that is really interesting and might let you do more quirky things with it

I love the theme, and I love the dress. If you want that dress, then you should have it. Honestly, when your theme is so ‘strong’, I don’t think it matters what dress a bride wears as long as she feels comfortable. Like I know people have a Vintage, countryside-y theme, but still have a really glam dress.

This is what I personally picture when I imagine bohemian:

It’s by Jenny Packham. But then I am biased because I love Justice of the Peace gowns. πŸ™‚

@somethingaquamarine:  I agree with this. I think it’s pretty clear to many of us that the dress you’ve posted does not “go” with the style of wedding you’ve described. I think it’s also clear that you are pretty much determined to wear that dress, as you’ve shot down every other suggestion given throughout the thread.

That being said, your ideas and the dress are both lovely, and if your heart is set on that dress for that day, more power to you.

EDIT: I just saw the other dress you posted (I didn’t even see the second page of this thread, what’s wrong with me), and I love, love the second dress. That style gets my vote for sure!

I think it’s elegant and formal. Definitely not native or bohemian.

@LMD84:  Agreed. OP, I have no idea what you’re going for, but if you have a good feeling about a dress then get it.

@bohosioux:  Gorgeous!! THAT dress definitely fits the native, bohemian vibe!!  Love, love, love.  And, as a former tall, thin, no hip having chick, I think it would look amazing.  I say go for it.

@bohosioux:  If it helps any, I think it would resell easily.  πŸ™‚  best of luck, both dresses are gorgeous
