I posted something yesterday about having an issue with my hair and make-up person because she did not do the requested hairstyle. And also that there was only going to be her and that she was going to need 4-5 hours for all of us. So I sent an e-mail saying that 4-5 hours was a bit much and that I was going with someone else that could handle all of us. I never mentioned how unhappy I was about her not doing the hairstyle I requested or anything else.
Here is the e-mail she sent back:
I am sorry to hear that. I will have to pay you in allotments as I have already turned away weddings for Aug. 3rd and now I have to come up with all the money you insisted on paying me in full for your wedding day. What is your home address to send you money?
It would be a total of $165 which covers the day of make-up and hair and some eyelash extensions. Makes me wonder what kind of business she runs if she wants to do a payment plan for such a low amount…?

You’re lucky she’s even willing to give your money back, so whatever you can get – even in installments is better than nothing!

@lovelylight99: I would just be happy that she wants to pay you back for your deposit. That does seem like a small amount but maybe she’s not working very much right now since March isn’t a big time for weddings.

@lovelylight99: whoa, she already spent the mone you gave her and yoru day hasn’t come and went.

It’s weird because she makes YOU out to be the villain for very generously paying her in full in advance. If she didn’t want to be paid till August, she could have just put that money in savings and let it earn interest till she wanted it. So weird. Glad you are going with someone else. She sounds immature and unprofessional.
