(Closed) Does this flatware match these plates?

It’s a stretch on "matching," but if you like it together, then get it. It’s your china after all! Do you prefer one to the other?

If you wanted it to match better, I would either pick a simpler flatware (one that’s just silver, no insets, but not necessarily without a pattern or design). Or else I would get a more casual china set. The flatware (which are really cool and different!) is so much funkier than the china that to me it’s not so much that the patterns don’t match as that the "tone" doesn’t match exactly. But again, it’s really up to you!

Maybe I just have insane taste, but I think they look fabulous together! They’re so different, and pairing them together would be so unexpected, that your dinner guests would be forced to assume that you have superior style and fashion sense.

Besides, that flatware could be used with a variety of everyday dishes. Keep them!

I like them together. They are both beautiful on their own. Go for what you love period.
