If it doesn’t, I can do a sapphire nail. It’s for an event I am going to tonight. I am wearing a sapphire/ royal blue dress and gold accessories. Please excuse my dry hands I took th is pic in -6 degree weather. Thank you.

@hegetsme: Absolutely! I love the way gold and white gold look together, but I’m getting a yellow gold wedding band to go with my white gold engagement ring, so I’m biased. 😛
But really, I think the gold accentuates the whiteness of the diamonds, and blue and gold feels like one of the fanciest color combos to me, so I think it’s perfect.

Thanks so much! I never ever wear gold but I have been so attracted to it this month. That is why I am doing gold accessories tonight to test it out. It looks nice so far with my blue dress so I am going to enjoy wearing it tonight and it’s someting I never do 🙂

Based on this picture alone, my preference would be for the sapphire nails over the gold nails. The gold looks almost brownish/greenish gold to me, and it feels, to me, as if it has too much warmth to it to wear with your beautiful, icy-cool, sapphire-and-white-metal rings.
However, if that’s not the case IRL, then you should be fine with the gold.

This pic was filtered and I should not have done that because you cannot see the true gold color. It’s only pic I have on my computer right now 🙁 But it is a true gold in person.

If its a true gold I think it will look great!

I think it looks good! I have been wearing gold with my white gold ring and I hadn’t even thought about the two colors together.
