Yep, happens to Darling Husband and me as well. And if I wear a ring on another finger for a long period of time, I get one under that finger too. I’ve associated it with driving and pushing a shopping cart- for some reason these two things seem to increase the “roughness” of mine. But Darling Husband doesn’t do much of either of those things so I could be way off, lol.

Yeah I can tell my skin is a little thicker below my bands but you can’t see it unless my hands are really dry

I haven’t noticed anything and I’ve been wearing mine for a couple of years now. To be fair, my bands are both super thin (1.8mm) and a smidge loose, so they tend to roll and slide a bit.

Yeap, totally normal!

I used to wear a pretty white gold/pink sapphire and diamonds RHR for a few years- I had one under that finger, too. A few months after I stopped wearing the ring every day, it went away.

Woah! Fasinating!  I haven’t noticed this with my engagement ring, but it’s also really loose on me.

Yep, pretty sure it happens to everyone. It’s where the ring touches the skin when you bend your fingers, so it makes a lot of sense. I knew it would happen to me but Darling Husband was pretty surprised when his developed, haha.

It happened to me once and I just took the ring off for a few days and it went away, hasn’t been back since.

My husband has gotten them because he had never wore rings before.
