I think the fonts look fine (as long as your wedding isn’t really fancy) but I don’t like the hand

I think the fonts look fine. Maybe don’t make the first and last line all capitals? To me it looks quite harsh like that. I also think the gap between the birds and first line is a bit too wide.

Now that you say garden wedding, though, I don’t really think it fits. Is that your color scheme? The whole thing looks more nautical to me than garden

@HollyFlax:  You can order samples on Vistaprint…. ? I had to skip the option because my Groupon was ending… haha, but there was totally an option there.

I think your names need to be in a different font. Something with a little more style… Not quite a script, but getting closer to there.

I’d also take out the hand, center the text, and make the doves larger and lower them a bit.

No caps for the first line.

If you don’t want to center the text, fuse that section with the date section and put the date section on the left in a square block shape, and the address on the right in a square block shape. I’d have to see it but it could work.

What do you want to do? lol. I made my own and I’m a graphic designer… I can help you out if you want.

I looked at Vistaprint, and price-wise I found some good bargains on Zazzle. Mine should be on there way to me now!

I don’t think it looks stupid, but maybe with a few minor changes, you might like it a little more!  I think the best idea on this “guide to fonts” is that opposites attract.  Maybe if you make one of your fonts slightly more girly (i.e. cursive, or script type fonts), it would be more eye-appealing.  I saw that you are going with a different invite altogether, but I saw this somewhere and figure it’s always good for reference 🙂
