It doesn’t work for me. The dress is lovely.

It may be cold outside but we do have central heating, so it won’t be cold inside.

They will make some great pics if you wear them outside with a great wrap or faux fur stole , but I would wear some cute shoes inside.

    Adore the dress.

Adore the idea of dress with boots.

But…different boots. Something about those boots is just not doing it for me.

I like the dress, it is very pretty.  The boots look like something you would wear with jeans.  Depending on what the weather is like, if a closed toe shoe would be enough, otherwise switching from boots outdoors to shoes indoors.  Whenever I’ve had to go somewhere dressed up in the winter if it was just running from the car to a restaurant or something, I just wear heels, but if the weather is really bad bring a change of shoes and wear the boots outside.

I think if you had on a casual jacket, then the boots could tie in with it. But otherwise it just feels like something is missing. The dress is really cute though. I’d just keep hunting for a boot that’s a little dressier. Do they need to be flat boots?

I don’t like the boots, sorry. They remind me of Peter Pan.

I do like the dress, it’s beautiful. What about cowgirl boots? Usually I don’t promote the idea of if you aren’t wearing them for their purpose then don’t wear them at all but I think in this case they’d be cute. Just a thought 🙂

What about a boot with a heel and some tights?  I think that dress is too nice to wear with most boots.  If you are really set on a dress with boots maybe go for a dress that is more appropriate with boots, Free People usually has good options.

I think the dress is too fancy to go with those boots. I can see a dress with those kinds of boots, but it would have to be a casual, boho, floral or floaty sort of style. The white dress, with the lace, is too formal and needs a more dressy shoe in my opinion.
