    Yes, do it!

Yes to the dress but not the boots, wear something else on your feet

    Hate the dress

No. This will not look good together!

those boots, with the suede, seem way too casual. if you’re dead set on a boot i would be more inclined to go with a bootie heel with little laces.

Something like this, though not this specifically. I have a pair of heels like this that are leather and closed toe in like a camel colour and I love them with dresses. a bit more feminine for me, personally.

@CarterLove:  I don’t love the look, but you mentioned snow on the ground, so if you are going to be walking outside at all, I would wear the boots.

Personally, I think the dress looks dressy but the boots look casual, so they “clash” in my mind.

However, it is your wedding, so you should do what makes YOU happy!

@beeintraining:  +1! yes to dress. yes to boots in general. no to those particular boots.

I like both the dress and the boots but not together – the boots are way too casual, IMO.

    How about something like this?

    It doesn’t go.

I have a similar dilemma… December wedding and there will be tons of snow. I will wear boots to the venue but wear heels once I’m inside.

@CarterLove:  If you’re looking for something to keep nice in the snow! Wet conditions don’t go with suede. It takes forever to dry (wet feet on your wedding day? No thanks) and when they do they get stained. I do think your boots are a little fall/summerish for your winter wedding but try to find something that will either 1. Dry easily and dry nicely or 2. A different pair for the car to venue.

I say yes to boots but in another color. Maybe white or tiffany blue for your ‘something blue’?

I love the boots, love that they are flat, love the suede, love the style… the colour will work, but you could probably find a colour that would work even better.

Yes! I had the same idea for my wedding this summer!

I’m not too crazy about the ones you had posted but I think it won’t be too difficult to find the perfect pair. i think leather over suede and a taller boot would look nice.

@CarterLove:  I will preface this by saying I’m not the most fashionable bee, but here are a couple boots I would consider pairing with that dress:
