arielle1:  I sold fine jewelry and it’s impossible to tell without knowing your ring size.

What’s your ring size? I will say that it looks bigger than a 1 carat to me, reguardless of your ring size

I also wanting to add that 7.6mm seems a bit small for a 1.75 carat round, so it might be cut slightly too deep which would also make it appear smaller not by much though. I have a 1.65 carat round and it measures 7.71mm

arielle1:   I have a round 1.75  ct. Diamond and diameter measures at 7.8mm so based on mine and what I have read about carat and size that’s about right. I don’t know what jeweler you went to but it looks larger than 1ct. Also it will start to look smaller because your use to it. Lol that’s what happened to me too until I compared it to my earrings. 😉

No idea, but I think I saw you mention in another thread that it’s CZ? CZs are denser than diamonds, so they’re somewhat smaller at the same carat weight. Maybe that’s coming into play somehow.

    Might be a 7 mm or 1.25! I have a size 3.5 and 1.25 ct.
