Have you thougth of maybe skipping the necklace and instead doing some lovely drop earrings?  your dress is beautiful and does have a lot of interest in the top.  A necklace may be the thing that ends up making it look ‘busy’.  But earrings are the perfect way to get that pop of sparkle with jewelery while leaving your neck bare and graceful looking

@MrsDrRose612:  I agree. With your dress neckline and details I would just go with a gorgeous pair of earrings. Just my HO.

If earrings aren’t an option than I would have to say yes, I think the necklace would make it look a little busy and maybe a bit over-done.  That’s just my opinion.  Your dress also looks like it has beading instead of crystal detailing on it, which also may look mis-matched.  Again, just my opinion.  Both the dress and necklace are gorgeous anyway

Yes I think it is too much and too casual for the dress

you really don’t need a necklace.  The neckline is so beautiful by itself!

I agree with the others, I wouldn’t wear a necklace with this dress at all.

I would change your mind about your hair, wear it up with beautiful drop earings. wearing your hair up doesn’t have to look harsh and its easier to wear a veil or flower. I really didn’t want a harsh up do so I went with this below, You could also get a lovely bracelet. I love your dress by the way

In the picture you posted, the bride is wearing a pearl bracelet. Have you considered wearing pearls, maybe on a short necklace?

I tried that dress on 🙂  It was really pretty.

Some of the girls suggested earrings and you said you were wearing your hair down.  Have you thought about a sparkly headband instead of a necklace or earrings?

I think that you can wear the necklace since you say it is very small. I don’t think it will be too overwhelming and it compliments the dress. You could always wear a small drop pendant if you aren’t sure about that particular necklace. I see people are telling you to change your hair but I disagree. You should wear it how you feel comfortable. I don’t like my hair up – i never wear it up – so i’m defiintely wearing it down for my wedding. I want to be comfortable and happy. 🙂

Try the dress on with the necklace. If you think it looks too busy, you could maybe put the pendant on a bracelet instead.
