So, I am OBSESSED with pearls. My wedding inspirations and colors are red, black, and blue with a winter wonderland theme adorned with pearls and crystals. My board is below.
I love this Vera Wang necklace but wondering if it goes with my dress. Pics also attached.
Let me know your thoughts..HELP! My wedding is in Feb 2012.

I think this is an interesting necklace and I’m torn as to whether or not I feel like it goes with it. I think it’s pretty but it might detract from the look of the dress.

Love your dress! It’s a cool necklace, but I feel like it would be quite a lot going on with your dress.
For future reference, you probably don’t need to yell (all caps) your subject lines! 🙂

I agree with @SweetRose2011…It’s pretty, but just a little too much for your dress. Did you try a simple strand of pearls?

I think it might be too much. With the layers and ruffles of your dress, adding another big detail might overwhelm the whole thing. Both the dress and necklace are amazing though.

orrr you could get a really pretty multi strand bracelet!

i think its a cool necklace but with that dress… WAY too busy!.
what about just one stand of big chunky pearls?

Thanks everyone! I think deep down I already knew what everyone is saying above but needed to hear someone else say it:( They do have a matching bracelet thought that I also love!

That necklace is definitely a statement piece! 🙂
It is a BIT much with your dress, and in my opinion a wedding in general.
Have you ever noticed how in wedding dress photos the models are usually pretty bare on the chest area? I think it’s usually best to let your gorgeous skin/décolleté be seen.
I think some wonderful pearl and sparkly earrings would be great.

I agree with everyone- wayyy too much! And I just wanted to say i wouldn’t do the bracelet either. Although I am usually all for an awesome statelet bracelet and leaving the chest bare, here I just don’t think the style of the bracelet matches the dress at all. The dress is so light and airy and the jewelery is just so heavy looking….

Thanks again everyone.
Agerard23-I actually added beading pearl and crystal detail under the best and right before the flair of the dress too make it more dramatic. Totally agree with you but with the added detail, its a good match. Tks for your input!!
