Nope.  I’m not a huge fan of BM’s in bright colors though. But that’s just me!

Nope.

She’s the bride.  The bride always wins.

The solar flare right over the BM’s heads, and the fact that she’s so much smaller draws your attention to them in this particular photo, but I doubt they outshone her IRL.

I don’t think so at all! Maybe the lighting could have highlighted her more, but she already is the focus to me!

@mpc87: my initial reaction: GOOD THING THOSE GIRLS ARE WEARING SLIPS!!!!!!!

but I agree with PurpleUnicorn in that the bride stands out well on her own.

Unless you’re wearing a gown that “blends in” with the BM’s (like I’m kinda gonna do), it’ll be fine.  One reason why white gown on bride and colors on BM’s is a really good idea.  Otherwise, keep the bride in the center!!!!

I immediately looked at the bride.  The one in the white dress in the middle is the focus for me.  I actually think that the lighting takes away from the Bridesmaid or Best Man for me, it drew my eye there, but then it blurred out the features of the end Bridesmaid or Best Man for me, so I went back to looking at the bride.

I agree with the PP the fact that the BM’s are so much taller than the bride has more of an effect than the dresses.

Is it because they are taller than her? or the style of their dress?

To me it looks like a regular bridal party shot and the bride still stands out to me, although her bouquet is HUGE lol

No – I don’t think that when I see the picture.

Personally I think the IDEA that we brides would even worry about being out-shone on our wedding day is ridiculous.  I don’t know about you, but I’m going to be so happy, I could put on a burlap sack and STILL out shine everybody there.  The shine come from within!

As for that dress — no WAY does it shine like a wedding gown.
