Obviously this is a VERY rough copy, but I just want to see if the wording is easy to follow and people would know how to respond. We would fill in the second box before sending them so for a family of 5 it would say “_ of 5 will be attending” or for a couple it would say “_ of 2 will be attending”… Do you think people would know how to reply and do you think they would understand the ‘Song suggestion’ bit? Anything we’re missing? Thank you

i like the song suggestion bit!!
makes sense Its good! 🙂

I think the _ of _ will be attending could be confusing.
How about “number of people attending __”
May I offer a spelling correction? Dietary

I think it’s great. but you need to pre-fill in the out of # attending part for each RSVP

I know it’s super hard to read, but this is what we did with ours :
The favor of your reply is requested
by september 30th 2014
__ seats have been reserved in your honor
__ accepts with pleasure
number attending __
__ declines with regret

I think ‘number of guests attending’ and then below it have ‘names of guests’ so you know who to make place cards for etc. I also think ‘song request’ sounds better than ‘song suggestion’

I am going to disagree with ‘number of guests attending’. I have seen bees use gthis in the past and received replies with additional guests to those invited, ie adding in children or plus 1’s.
I used ‘# seats have been reserved in your honor’ # accepts with pleasure, # declines with regret.

Following for ideas to word mine, although ours will be online :/

ChocolateLime: excellent point! I totally forgot about the RSVP we got back with 10 written on the “will attend” line. I think I blacked out – we had only invited two people. We had to call and get that straightened out. She wanted to bring a bunch of extended family for a reunion.

OP I think what you have should work fine! Just pre-fill the of # will attend and correct ‘dietary’ as well as adding space for the names of those attending (maybe pre-fill that too so they can cross out those not attending or whatever).

I think this makes sense, but you need a space where they can enter their name or you need to put their name on it for them, so you know who the RSVP is from!

RSVPs don’t have to have names on them, you can just number the back and save a sheet with the coorsponding numbers. Ours were numbered 1-76.
