    I think that sash would make it look a little too busy.  If you definitely have to add something (which I don’t think is necessary as the dress stands well on its own) I’d make it a simple satin sash without all of the beading.

    I agree that the sash would make it a tad too busy because of the flowery motif (the fabric, leafy part)… Moreover, I personally think the pointy part at the middle will clash with the deep V-neck of your dress… (pointing up, then the neck pointing down, which make your torso looks shorter…)…

    I do, however, think a little bling would look great with the dress… Have you consider a crystal-only, straight (like square-ish) design like the following…


    (Okay, maybe not as wide like the first picture, but you get the idea….)…. The dress has some feminine quality to it (lace and neckline), add some stronger touch (more masculine and not flowery) to create visual interest… 🙂

    I love the sash idea, but maybe something with color will pop more and go with your personality a little better.
