    I like it, but if you don’t love it, maybe look into a reset.  Personally, I like stones around that size with the Tiffany style solitaire (as in Tiffany replica or true Tiffany, with built in head).  Especially since I think the slightly thicker band would make your ring look more balanced.  But ultimately you should have what makes your heart sing.  If you don’t find yourself gazing at it adoringly every chance you get, maybe look for something that will.

    @Pink Turtle:  I’m the same way! We’re custom designing my ring because I was really set on having an amazing, unique setting. The setting costs almost as much as the diamond we chose! I chose a 1k with a really cool setting over a 1.5-2k with a plain setting. So you’re not strange at all ๐Ÿ™‚

    I personally don’t love the setting.  But you should do what makes you happy since you’re the one wearing the ring and looking at it! ๐Ÿ™‚
