I was thinking to myself, “What in the world, would be a good favor?”
At the same time, I was buying lots of tea pots for the centerpieces and such at thriftstores and everything. And then I thought to myself “Aha! I could use the teapots as favors, as well as decor!”
Here is my idea:
I will take the lids off of the teapots, use them for place cards, put the teapots in the correct area, and they could be told to take their gift home with them by matching the lids.
So I’m excited, but I need to know if it is a good plan or not. Haha

I think it’s a really neat idea…. Interactive & really cute!

Are you saying that you are going to have one teapot for each guest at your wedding? That could be very expensive.
Or, are you saying that you are going to use the teapots for the centerpiece and have a draw to see who at the table gets to take it home?

@julies1949: I am only having fifty guests, and almost each guest has a spouse. So, I’m tihnking around thirty teapots tops. I’m having the placement cards to include families as well, so one for each household.

Honestly, it’s a cute idea but not sure it would appeal to everyone. not alot of people use teapots, and if one couple gets 2 teapots, that’s even more impractical for them. I would keep brainstorming if i were you. good luck

Yeah, I’ll keep looking, but this is the best idea so far. I’m still getting the teapots though haha

@sunflower.kisses11: Ah! Now I understand. I think it will be a cute idea. Anyone who doesn’t drink tea can always pass it along to someone who does.
Don’t worry about people who don’t drink tea.No matter what favor you choose there will be people who won’t use it.
