20 centerpieces, 6 bms bouquets, 3 bouts = $2700
20 centerpieces, 6 bms bouquets, 3 bouts = $2700
Depends on where you are, I guess. I’m getting my bouquet, 4 maids, 1 flower girl basket, 5 corsages, 14 bouts, an archway, 2 arrangements & 11 tables for $1042. I have peonies, roses, & mini hydrangeas as my flowers. Don’t know if it matters, but I just thought I’d throw it in lol 🙂
It really depends on what flowers you’re using and how big the arrangements are.
Sounds about right. I didn’t realize flowers were so expensive until I started wedding planning… yeesh!
This is the exact estimate. I said 2700 but it is actuatlly 2860
Estimate:
Also, I don’t totally get the part about ribbon being expensive. Is ribbon really expensive?
Sounds really reasonable to me.
I think it sounds high for the flowers that are being used in your centerpieces. Ribbon isn’t expensive, and neither are carnations or alstromeria. Get quotes from a few other vendors.
I would definately get another estimate. It doesn’t hurt to meet with more than one florist.
I met with 2 florists, both with the same budget, but the 2nd florist was far more creative.
I also think the cost seems a little high considering the flowers you are using.
Can you ask for an itemized proposal? That way you can see what costs what and can cut where you need to. I know the ribbon wrapping and aplique is a labor cost-which the florist usually won’t cut down too much-they have to pay their employees with something. It’s usually the flower choice/centerpiece size where there is some wiggle room.
I think its way too high for what you’re getting. Those centerpieces are pretty small, and roses are pretty cheap, depending on the time of year.
I’d shop around some more before accepting that quote.
This depends a LOT on your location but based on what appropriate charges would be the first items, I think your centerpieces might be a little over-priced, mostly because you’re not using very expensive flowers (or flowers that typically have to be greatly over ordered to be sure of quality). What are they charging for delivery? You can expect to spend $$ because you have 20 centerpieces. However 5×5 are small and you’re using relatively cheap flowers, those shouldn’t be more than $65. I think it’s a bit high, but not by too too much.
