Not weird at all. It’s edible which is what people prefer if you must have them. Favors are not required though and no one will miss them if they are not there.

Absolutely not tacky… .but I sometimes don’t really understand that word when it’s not used to describe something cheap or offensive.

I’d take it home and use it in my tea.  Delish!

No, not tacky at all! People will love that. I myself wanted to do either honey or preserves  (when we were planning a fall wedding LOL). I think it is a great idea that your guest will love.

I think this is a great idea! I found a photo similar to what someone mentioned above when I searched for some examples of this and I think the wording on the lid is so cute.

“It was sweet of you to bee here!”

Plus it looks like these jars are under 3 oz. 🙂

Not at all! This is my plan for a favor as long as it is in my budget. It goes with my theme: lavender and honey.

I plan on contacting a local beekeeper to get honey from him. I plan on having little jars of honey with little wooden honey dippers and some sprigs of lavender.

I have been researching online to find the best deals on jars and dippers. I’m on my blackberry right now so don’t have the websites saved, but once I get a chance to get back on my laptop in a few days, I will post the links to what I’ve found so far.

So obviously, I think it is a great idea! Maybe a sticky idea, but definitely not tacky. 😉
