In my personal taste i dont like mixed metals in jewellery…but thats just me. Mixing white and yellow gold is really quite common, so if you like it, why not!?

I like the look, it really does match up quite well.  I also like the sentiment behind it.. win win.

I like it, and I like it just how it is, in yellow gold (or as I like to call it, “gold”).

@Blushingbella:  I’m pretty sure that white gold  is rodium plated gold (which is naturally yellow). Why would it turn yellow any faster than your e-ring?

I actually like the look of mixed metals. I think it looks great, but it really depends on you. Maybe you cold wear a bling band below your ering and the plain gold band on top…

@PrincessBride27:  White gold is mixed with white metals to make it whiter and then rhodium dipped, so while it can look yellowish when it wears, the base metal is still closer to white then yellow…

I like it!!! Most importantly, I love that it was your grandma’s wedding band.

I personally do not care for mixed metal colors BUT I love the sentiment behind this, so I’m a little conflicted.  Can you maybe get it plated to match your e-ring?  The shape goes lovely with your e-ring, it’s just the color I”m (personally) hung up on.

i love the mixed metals look, if it’s good enough for the british royals (google it!) then why shouldn’t it be good enough for anyone else??? I’m mixing metals, I think it is SOOO classy to have a gold or rose gold band with a white metal e-ring!!

@Mint2Bee:  I think it looks fine, but if it ever bothers you that they are two different colors you could always have them rhodium the yellow gold band so it is white. 🙂
